String Theory

Four stringed traditions, one experimental instrument.

Move between electric guitar, sitar, mandolin and bouzouki, each with dedicated tuning, string behavior and resonance characteristics. Combine picking, strumming, sweeping, alternate-stroke tremolo and legato. Create repeating scale runs, arpeggios and unusual string performances, with physical modelling and available recorded instrument layers.
